Meet the licensed massage therapists behind Healing Hands Massage. Our team serves Bangor and Hampden, Maine with personalized care, professional training, and a shared commitment to your well-being..
Hi! My name is Heather, and massage therapy is both my passion and my calling.
Over the years I’ve seen how much tension and discomfort people carry throughout their bodies {especially in their neck and shoulders} and I’ve made it my specialty to bring real relief in those areas. I want to be a tool in someone’s tool belt to healing.
I take time to listen and adapt each session to what you need, your comfort, preferences, and goals always guide the massage.
Whether you’re looking for targeted muscle relief or simply a space to relax and recharge, I’d love to be part of your healing journey. Book with me today!

My name is James, and it is my goal in life to transform pain into healing. A series of accidents and traumatic events in my youth left me feeling disconnected from my body and in constant pain.
Years into my healing journey, I experienced the power of massage to reconnect mind and body. Since then, it has been my mission to share this transformative experience. My goal for each client is to foster an embodied sense of safety and self-acceptance as we address your specific needs.
I’m the resident skeleton, office mascot, and unofficial assistant at Healing Hands Massage. You’ll usually find me standing nearby during sessions, helping Heather explain how bones, joints, and muscles work together and why certain areas feel tight, sore, or restricted.
I’m here to make anatomy easier to understand. When Heather points to a muscle, joint, or nerve pathway on me, it helps turn abstract explanations into something you can actually see. That way, you know what we’re working on, how massage helps, and what’s going on inside your body.
I don’t talk much, but I’m excellent at standing still, holding a pose, and reminding everyone that bodies are wonderfully practical systems. No mystery, no fluff, just bones, muscles, and movement working together.
If you’re curious about how massage supports pain relief, mobility, or recovery, I’m happy to help Heather walk you through it. After all, understanding your body is the first step toward taking better care of it.
